POSITION PURPOSE:

As the Digital Ad Operations Manager for Bonneville, you'll be responsible for managing digital ad campaigns, programmatic ad exchanges and unsold digital inventory for all Bonneville Markets.  You'll work alongside other members of our sales, content and business development teams to ensure continued growth in a key area of our business.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee digital ad operations, including traffic of display, video, audio, rich media ads, search and other types of ads
  • Manage ad exchanges
  • Manage unsold inventory and regularly communicate availability to markets
  • Work with development team to create and manage new ad positions across all sites/apps
  • Continuously work to maximize value of remnant and programmatic inventory
  • Provide regular account of remnant and cross-market sales to Bonneville properties
  • Lead set up of video ad operations and programmatic strategy
  • Lead set up of out of market streaming programmatic ad insertion
  • Lead set up of on-demand ad operations and programmatic strategy
  • Manage both owned and operated inventory as well as audience extension media campaign strategy
  • Providing ad suggestions to clients and working with design resources to execute creative requests
  • Adjust campaign delivery parameters to maximize revenue performance
  • Review key metrics regularly and investigate any potential problems
  • Oversee monthly advertising invoicing and reconciliation.
  • Forecast quarterly inventory and revenue for management.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.  Experience in lieu of degree
  • 2-5 years of trafficking/media analytics for digital advertising preferred
  • Experience in digital advertising operations preferred
  • Proficiency with Google's DFP, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with pay-per-click marketing and SEO
  • Experience in performance-based marketing or advertising is a plus
  • Experience in programmatic advertising preferred
  • Highly detail oriented; ability to meet deadlines and effective problem solving skills
  • Quick learner who loves to pick up new tools/software for reporting & analysis
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in and actively support Bonneville's EEO policy as it relates to recruitment, selection, evaluation, compensation, training, promotion and termination.  Includes being knowledgeable and conversant with the FCC EEO Rules effective March 10, 2003, and understanding the compliance issues that safeguard the station's FCC license.  
  • Take a proactive role in supporting Bonneville's policy to prevent harassment of any kind within the workplace, at off-site places of company business and at company-sponsored social venues.
  • Assure that employees working in your department will receive annual performance appraisals.  Guarantee that employees will sign Conflict of Interest and Payola annually.
